Job Description

Responsibilities: - You will support nurses in the care of the patient's activities of daily living. - You will also support nurses in the following: a. Trim nails b. Assisted feeding c. Assisted oral care d. Ambulating (assisting patients to move from place to place) e. Sitter for at risk patient * You will be assigned to do 3 of the above tasks. Requirements: Training and Experience - No prior experience is required. On the job training will be provided for those without experience. - Caregiving/ HCA certification (preferably, but not required) Immunisation Requirements: *Please upload your vaccination certificate to your profile* - You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 - If you have taken on an assignment at this institution before, vaccination against Hepatitis B, Varicella, MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella) and Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) will be provided if you have no prior immunization. Dress Code: You should dress to project a smart and professional image. The attire must be clean and neat (e.g. not torn, ripped or stained) to project professionalism and ensure public and confidence is maintained by taking into consideration NHG’s corporate image as well as the norms and expectations of the public. - Plain white shirt (either T-shirt/polo shirt) - Black pants - Covered shoes (with proper grip) Payment Instructions: - JobsOnDemand will pay the Member directly after the job has been completed - Payment will be processed on the next business day - Please ensure that your bank account details are accurately provided
